Hello – thanks for visiting our website. We look forward to meeting you in person!
The St Stephens family thinks that knowing and loving God is really important. You’ll also detect that the Bible is central to most of what we do because that is the way in which we get to know God through his Son Jesus. The Bible tells us that Jesus has done a pretty amazing thing for us by dying on the cross in our place; so that despite us rejecting God we can still know him and even be included in his family. We think that is truly incredible!!!
We would love it if you joined us at one of our Sunday Services…don’t forget to fill in the visitors book.
We meet every Sunday as a church family. We sing together, pray together, encourage one another, and listen to God’s word. Our church family includes people of all ages, languages, and races. We run special programmes for children and teens during the 9:30am service.
8:00am – A traditional, quieter service with hymns and liturgy.
This service appeals to the older members of our congregation who love to use the prayer book liturgy, and enjoy singing traditional and well-loved hymns, accompanied by the organ.
9:30am – A family-focussed service with crèche, children’s and teen’s programmes.
This is by far our most popular service which extends across all ages and life circumstances. The service is livelier than the 8am, with a full band and more dynamic worship.
6:30pm – A contemporary and vibrant service.
This service is not exclusive to the younger generation and students, although it does appeal to them more. Again there is a full band and after the service we enjoy fellowship together over a home-cooked meal.
Our greatest desire, whichever service you choose, is that you would get to know the Jesus that we love so much.
